Event Responder – Intermediate
BARTA are pleased to offer this workshop, designed to support our work in ensuring not only emergency responders, but all those dealing with incidents involving large animals are provided with both training and standardisation of techniques.
The Event Responder level of our Large Animal Encounter range of courses is suitable for those people that will come into contact with equines and livestock during their normal working day.
This highly practical workshop is suitable for a range of people from veterinarians and veterinary nurses to welfare charities or those managing an animal facility and events, welfare groups and all responders that might encounter, handle and deal with incidents involving large animals.
The workshop will provide delegates with the skills to recognise and understand how to safely and effectively approach animal related incidents, utilising the welfare centred techniques taught on the workshop. An approach designed to ensure responder safety and provide the best possible welfare for those animals encountered at incidents.

Jim Green our Animal Rescue Specialist is a much sought after expert in his field. Jim and the team at BARTA are dedicated to improving the welfare of animals and improving the training and safety of those responders through the advancement of best practice.
