What we do
BARTA was established with a clear vision to support first responders in the resolution of emergency situations involving animals, with informed, safe and welfare driven plans.
BARTA is uniquely positioned to bring together expertise from a range of industries and specialisms whose joint collaboration will impact the future of animal incident management across a broad spectrum of agencies and applications, from localised single animal incidents, to wide scale, multi-agency emergencies and disasters.
The purpose of BARTA is to lead and inspire, to create opportunities and to leave legacies. BARTA has four strategic aims, the essence of which is captured in the strapline “Inspiring excellence in animal response”.
