InVeST Conference – University of Surrey

BARTA will be attending the event at Surrey University in August, demonstrating techniques and discussing managing incidents involving animals.

InVeST is an international veterinary clinical skills and simulation conference for learning and networking between researchers, developers and educational institutions on the use of simulation in veterinary education. InVeST also encourages research regarding the use and effectiveness of simulation and the use of part-task trainers in veterinary education.

This two-and-a-half day conference will be held Wednesday 28 – Friday 30 August 2024. This is only the second time the conference has been back in Europe (last in Hannover 2013) and the first time it has been held in the UK.

The School of Veterinary Medicine will be celebrating its 10^th birthday at Surrey and hosting InVeST for 2024 feels like a fitting tribute, especially as we have focussed the teaching here around clinical skills training and simulations.
