Role of the Equine RVN in Response to Civil Emergencies

12th November 2025, Online Event

In the high-pressure world of equine rescue, every second counts and so does your role. As an equine veterinary nurse, you’re not just part of the team; you’re a vital link in the rescue chain. This practical, scenario-based webinar is designed to give you the clarity and confidence to navigate emergency situations safely and effectively.

We’ll kick off with an introduction to our expert speakers before diving into the essentials: what happens at a rescue scene, who does what, and where you fit in. You’ll gain a clear understanding of rescue techniques, your legal responsibilities under Schedule 3, and how to make confident, informed decisions on the ground. Not only will these skills be applicable to an emergency scenario, but to everyday stuck horse cases such as the cast horse and colic cases.

Real-life case examples and a live panel discussion will give you practical insights and a chance to ask your burning questions before we wrap up. If you are interested in joining the online discussion, here is a link to the BEVA RVN event being held on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at 18:30 to 20:30.
