A BARTA Practical Day delivers an understanding of veterinary responders future role in attending incidents involving animals alongside emergency responders.

The day will consist of the theory behind working at large animal rescues, the structure and management of a scene and some of the common terminology used by emergency services.

Case studies will demonstrate effectiveness of modern approaches and there will be plenty of opportunity to practice techniques used in rescue situations and to see how these might be applied in everyday veterinary situations.
