Large Animal Rescue Responder (Scottish Fire)

A bespoke 4 day course for Scottish Fire, being delivered in partnership with Glasgow University. BARTA’s Large Animal Rescue Responder, rescue techniques module is linked to the knowledge and understanding required to satisfy fire and rescue service national operational guidance and national occupational standards.
Looking at: Situational Awareness, Animal Casualty Centred Rescue, Rescue Techniques, Case Studies and Practical Scenarios.
The Livestock and Equine handling days are highly practical and incident focused, the workshops will provide delegates with skills to recognise behaviours and utilise techniques and approaches that maximise safety for personnel and promote welfare of the animal.
