Highland Wildlife Park

The BARTA training team will be travelling up to the park, home of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, to deliver training to the team of vets, vet nurses, keepers and staff from across the site.

The training will be focusing on team work, situational awareness, environments, impact of people and casualty centred rescue. It will be a combination of the standard rescue techniques, both manual and mechanical rescue. We will discuss the tactical use of chemical control and anatomical considerations for chosen rescue techniques. All wrapped up in site specific scenarios.
