Fire Evacuation Training

BARTA are currently working with the RSPCA to assist in the development of their fire plans to ensure that the priority is human safety and no human life should ever be put at risk to help/rescue an animal.

However, with that said, we all know the strong human animal bond is and how a difficult and dangerous situation can impact on our emotions and decision making. How many times have we seen people putting themselves in harms way to rescue animals. With a little thought and good pre-planning we are looking to help mitigate the risks of a fire starting and if the worst does happen, having a clear plan for evacuation.

On the 19th of April we will be filming a training film showing the full evacuation process at The Horse Trust to help support this project.
