BARTA is working with the BRC to deliver standardised training in the same way that we have developed training for ground staff at racecourses throughout the UK.

There are risks from interacting with horses during an incident. Eventing arenas and meets are no exception and the situations we explore during the day are foreseeable hazards.

Pre planning, training for and coordination of a situation should reduce the risk to an acceptable level.
