Animal Incident Awareness and Fire Safety Event

The day will feature comprehensive, live demonstrations from the BARTA, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Resquip Team, who will walk you through their approach to incidents involving animals.

You will learn firsthand about the specialised equipment they use and the rescue techniques employed to safely extract and manage animals in distress. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, will also provide invaluable information on farm and stable fire safety, including best practices for emergency evacuation plans.

To round out this educational day the International Horse Agility Club will present a demonstration on the value of proactive training. Learn practical, engaging exercises you can teach your animal to better equip them to cope if they are ever involved in an incident.
