Nicky the Chairperson for the BARTA Board of directors and Veterinary Director for The Horse Trust has recently been in Bangkok representing BARTA at the WEVA congress. Her research abstract shows the essential leadership and management skills needed by veterinary surgeons in multi-agency responses for successful and safe resolution of incidents and that students attending BARTA veterinary responders courses were shown to develop these essential skills.
